The dream of Sinclairs Gully began in 1997, when Sue and Sean Delaney purchased their twenty six acre property in the Adelaide Hills.
With a passion for nature and the environment and a love of great wine it seemed a natural choice to restore and protect the remnant bushland on their property and turn the vacant paddock into a boutique Adelaide Hills vineyard to produce premium cool climate grapes and handcrafted Adelaide Hills wine.
With a lot of hard work and help from family and friends this dream became a reality. Our Adelaide Hills vineyard produces premium quality low yielding Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay grapes from our hand tended vines.

Our property at Sinclair’s Gully is nestled high in Norton Summit in one of the most picturesque parts of the Adelaide Hills.
In addition to our vineyard, we have a significant stand of endangered native vegetation on our property. We are passionate about restoring and protecting our patch of bushland and its associated biodiversity through ongoing weed eradication, revegetation and feral animal control programs.
Sue and Sean are passionate about their patch. When you visit Sinclair’s Gully you will be offered an insight to the importance of the endangered candlebark ecosystem occurring on our property, showing visitors the bush care work we have completed over the past 20 years.
Discussions with Sue and Sean on the biodynamic practices in the vineyard and the sustainable land and business practices provides an out of the ordinary cellar door experience.
Wandering through 150 species of native plants and 66 species of birds on a guided wine and wildflower walk in our sanctuary during spring, watching the black cockatoos fly through the candlebark forest at dusk at a summer twilight tasting, or just sitting back on the deck with a glass of wine and a platter offers visitors a very personal and unique Australian wine and ecotourism experience.
Part proceeds of the profits made from the sale of our cool climate Adelaide Hills wine are re-invested in the protection and restoration of our bushland, ensuring it will continue to be enjoyed well into the future.
